In late 2016, our students and P&C members voted to rename our Tuckshop as “THE SNACK SHACK”!
Snack Shack Benefits:
The P&C believes by having a Snack Shack at our school will:
help students in their studies,
provide an inexpensive service to parents for lunches, and
provide quality products at the lowest possible price as a service to the students.
Snack Shack Convenor:
The P&C manages the Snack Shack and also employs a Snack Shack Convenor to be in charge of and responsible for its effective and efficient operation.
Our wonderfully talented and kind Snack Shack Convenor is MARYANNE ZOLIJAN.
Snack Shack Location:
The "Tuckshop" in D Block near the Library.
Opening Hours for Year 1 to Year 6:

Special Food Days are days when the Snack Shack offers 'special' food items. These are occasions when the students are offered either red food items (i.e. 'sometimes food' as outlined by QLD ed. Department) or foods that are not usually offered by the Snack Shack e.g. sushi. Please Note: What is being offered on a special food day will be announced at least 4 weeks prior and orders for special food days need to be in by the cut - off date, usually 2 days before as orders cannot be placed on the day.
Local Suppliers:
We have made a conscious choice to use our local suppliers in Woombye – locals supporting locals!
Woombye Butchery: Fresh meat & chicken
Woombye Bakery: Fresh rolls & bread
Local & WSS Family Farmers/Gardeners: If you would like to sell or donate your home/farm grown fruit or veggies to the Snack Shack, please contact us pandc@woombyess.eq.edu.au or pop in and speak with Maryanne.
