Early arrivals at school
Pupils should not enter the school grounds before 8:00 am unless accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. It is desirable that children arriving before 8:15 am must be specifically requested unless it is for a specified activity. Students arriving before 8:30 am are to sit in the covered area.
General arrivals and departures
The school provides two points of entry and exit before and after school. All visitors (students, parents and others) may use the main school entry at any time of the day. The main entry only is to be used by all during school hours.
School visitors
All visitors to our school including classroom volunteers, tradespersons, tuckshop helpers and general visitors must visit the school office to sign in immediately upon their arrival. A bright coloured sticker will then be issued which is to be worn at all times while on the school premises.
Storms
Parents/guardians are encouraged to collect their child/children from school early if the area is threatened by a storm in the afternoon. If a storm erupts near the end of the school day, all students will be kept in classrooms until the storm threat passes. Parents may collect students from the classrooms during these circumstances.
Late collections
For some families, it is not possible to collect their children at 3:00 pm due to other commitments. Children should be collected no later than 3:30 pm and are to wait inside the main school entrance. Ample parking facilities are available for easy collection of children at the main entry at this time of afternoon.
